Craig Dow Sainter

Craig is a founder of Roar Film and Roar Educate. He is an Executive Producer of factual television and produces all Roar’s interactive digital education content which have a large following in Australia and UK.

In Australia, recent projects include The Voyage, a serious online game with Australian National Maritime Museum, video tutorials for National Archive’s Discovering Anzacs and a VET Cert3 Financial Literacy online course for ASIC’s Be Money Smart. Craig produced the AIMIA award winning (Best Children’s) Budd:e online resource for the Australian Government. In UK, Craig works closely with London Grid for Learning producing interactive education content specifically for Citizenship and Digital Literacy.

Craig is passionate about the education of digital literacy and is an avid proponent of broadening the scope of discussion from esafety and security to encompass a wider context. Roar Educate’s recent development CyberPass simplifies the teaching of digital literacy whilst providing empirical data on what the specific knowledge gaps are for children. In 2015 CyberPass was one of the first products to be certified by the Australian eSafety Commissioner.

Craig’s most recent tv/film credits include; Death or Liberty 2016 docudrama (ABC and cinemas) – Hunt for the Tasmanian Tiger 2015 (doco series) – Animal Planet.
