Brief Outline: BYOD, BYOT, all aim to achieve the same outcome - 1:1 computing to improve student outcomes. But what are the latest features, specs and requirements that can ensure technology is an enabler in your classroom? Join Intel for a device agnostic approach to exploring 1:1 at your school.

Detailed Overview:
Participants will gain an understanding of the latest trends and technologies that can have a positive impact upon the classroom. After a brief introduction participants will get hands on with new technologies to see its potential in the classroom. The key features of the latest devices will also be explored demystifying concepts, technologies, terms and components with the aim of empowering participants to develop an understanding of what infrastructure can do to assist a drive towards technology for learning.

Some of the areas, questions and discussion topics that will be addressed:

1.       What is a processor and how does it impact upon device performance?

2.       What are the key technology requirements for learning devices and why?

3.       What is on the technology horizon and what opportunities does it provide for the classroom?

To takeaway, participants will also be given access to an extensive resource database to assist post session. This session will have a hands-on component
